Altitude slows cherry maturation, concentrating sugars and acids — the foundation of complex flavour. All three Kibo regions sit above 1,800m, among the highest in Kenya.

Region 01
On the southeastern slopes of Mount Kenya, Kirinyaga's volcanic soil and 1,900m altitude create the perfect conditions for intense, vibrant acidity. This is the home of our Summit Reserve lot — coffee that defines what Kenya AA can achieve at its highest expression.

Region 02
Nyeri's red volcanic soils are among the most prized in all of Kenya — deep, mineral-rich earth that produces coffee with extraordinary body and wine-like depth. Home to our Midnight Bloom lot, Nyeri coffee carries dark cherry intensity and a bittersweet cocoa finish unmatched elsewhere.

Region 03
On Murang'a's southern slopes, soft morning mist and gentle rains create a unique microclimate. The result is a softer, sweeter cup — honeyed and floral, with ripe stone fruit and a silky finish. This is the home of our Golden Mist lot, the most approachable of our three signature coffees.
Kibo sources directly from smallholder cooperatives across all three regions — no brokers, no anonymous blends. Every farmer is known, every harvest is fairly priced.
